As curious college students, visiting Las Vegas can be one of the most exciting times of our lives. With preparation and planning ahead, you can certainty make the best of it. After a short weekend visit, I have come to a conclusion that Las Vegas is a getaway place where you can escape from the hectic life of a college student; to a place full of glamour, money and fun.

Whether it is gambling, clubbing, or simply walking the strip; the experience is just incredible.

As expected, it can be really hard to visit Las Vegas without gambling at least once. Many, like myself, try to stay away from the “so famous” slot machines. On this trip I found it impossible, even though I was determined that I would not gamble and lose any money, simply because I couldn’t afford it.

But since some friends were determined to “win” money, I decided to come along. While waiting at the famous Casino Royale, I found myself bored, so I decided to play the one dollar change I had. That lucky dollar kept me winning and winning. At some point, I couldn’t pull away.

I agree with most people that say that gambling in Las Vegas can be addicting.

After the free money I received, the night life was great. Luckily, for us the ladies, we did not have any hassle getting in or even paying for a club. All I can say is that Las Vegas loves the ladies!

Even though the ladies get the best treatment in Las Vegas, the guys can have their fun as well. While walking the strip, you are able to find the most extravagant people on earth. You can also meet new people from all over the world.

The scenery of the strip is great for pictures. It is full of lights and free resort attractions. With so many people walking around, you can always find a person to take a picture for you.

Night life was not the only great thing about Las Vegas, even the food is great. Buffets are very common and famous in Vegas. Visiting several different ones, I came to the conclusion that the best one is found at the Bellagio Resort. The buffet was one of the biggest buffets I have ever seen, ranging from Alaskan shrimp to fancy desserts. The line to get in the place was like a concert line; huge.

Las Vegas is a perfect getaway spot for stressed college students that want to have fun for a weekend.
