The Trojans decimated Evergreen Valley in the second home game of the season.A 5-1 victory marked the continuation of a good season, and avenged their home opening tie with Chabot College. For most of the game, Evergreen Valley struggled hopelessly in fighting off the Trojans on offense. Led by Nancy Chicas and Mellisa Roach, the Trojans had over 11 shot attempts. Chicas set off the first half with a quick score, but the Trojans didn’t really shine their brightest until the second half, where Evergreen’s defense failed to catch up with the midfielders and forwards. Autumn Cobb scored two consecutive goals late in the second half, and Roach scored the fifth and final goal within the last five minutes of the game. The Trojans, who are 4-2-1, are currently on a three game road trip.
