Fun places to walk your dog that aren’t traditional dog parks
Socializing and exercising your dog in pet-friendly trails is better than confining him or her in a dog park. Fenced dog parks are often urine-drenched, overcrowded, and a bore to be in. Giving your dog an adequate workout and a chance to create healthy bonds with others is practically impossible in a tiny fenced area teeming with dozens of antsy dogs. Furthermore, dogs (and humans) appreciate a change in scenery and walking on trails provide more mental stimulation than sitting within a fenced patch of dirt.
