Skyline College is actively preparing for Earth Week by raising awareness on campus and in the community. From April 22 through April 26, the Environmental Club will be teaming up with the Sustainable Campus Initiative and the Science and Research club to bring students daily events to remind them about the importance of being green.
In recent years, Skyline has been actively involved gearing the college to achieve the ultimate goal of zero-waste. Festivities range from a film screening of Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax to a research symposium featuring Dr. John Dueber, advocate for alternative-energy resources.
