Skyline’s efforts in becoming a greener college can be seen all over campus. Maybe you’ve seen the solar compactors in front of the cafeteria? Or the fact that for every trash can in school there’s a recycling counterpart? Or maybe you’ve even considered taking one of Skyline’s Environmental Science courses? Whatever the case, Skyline has made it clear that it’s an issue worth tackling. Standing on the front lines on this issue are the members of Skyline’s newly-resurrected Environmental Club. With progressive ideas in the works, these students are sure to lead Skyline in making strides toward a goal of zero waste.
To get involved in the Environmental Club, check out one of their meetings Wednesdays from 2:30 to 3:30 in room 6-203. Read about their first event on campus by scanning this barcode with your smartphone.
