From the creator of Adventure Time comes the first season of the YouTube cartoon web-series Bravest Warriors. This show will leave you perplexed, but definitely wanting to see more.
The plot of Bravest Warriors is essentially about four teenagers who are heroes-for-hire. They use emotional power to save different galaxies in many odd adventures, where they meet many crazy and sometimes adorable creatures.
Each episode of the show only runs for around five to seven minutes with eleven episodes, the first season all together is only about one hour long. This can easily be finished in one sitting. Don’t let the short run time of this show discourage you; there is no shortage of story or funny lines in this cartoon. Each episode seems to reveal a little more of some of the characters without ever being too serious. The flow of the show feels episodic. At the beginning of each episod,e the viewer is dropped into a scene that is already in progress. Nonetheless the show still manages to
For those who are skeptical about giving this a chance, but love Adventure time. Bravest Warriors has a few things in common with its brother show. For starters, the art style is fairly similar. Both have their own terminology, which always feel natural. I’ve actually incorporated some of the terminology into my vocabulary without even realizing it myself.
Bravest Warriors also features one of the cutest creatures in the cartoon universe. A favorite creature is the adorable half-cat half-bug appropriately named Catbug. The character has become a fan favorite and for a good reason. He steals every scene he is in. The bugger shows up at random times in the show, but every time you hear his cheerful little voice, you can’t but help smile. He’s voiced by Sam Lavagnino, a six-year-old boy, which is probably one of the reasons why the character is so adorable. Every line is sounds like it is genuinely coming from a sporadic kid, from which it actually is.
