Skyline summer news
Summer break is over and students are heading back to Skyline, ready for another semester and more studying as they work towards their education goals. As they return, news and development over summer break didn’t stop. In Trojans baseball outfielder Michael Franco announced in July that he is transferring to Azusa Pacifica University, an NCAA Division-II school. Franco helped the Trojans make it to the Regional and State playoffs during the Spring semester.
In June, according to the Skyline website former Skyline Men’s Basketball players Simon Enciso and Alli Austria are getting ready for the 2015 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Rookie Draft which is due to be happening this weekend on August 23.
Also in basketball news, twins and former Trojans players Rodney and Ronny Freeman graduated after starting their training on January 5th, earlier this year and become police officers with the San Francisco Police Department. The Skyline official basketball twitter page congratulated both brothers on Aug. 17, 2015.

Moving on to the upcoming season, the Women’s Volleyball season will be kicking off next Friday, August 28, with the Butte Classic in Oroville, Butte County. Men’s and Women’s Soccer will start their season against Mendocino College, with the Men’s going first on September 1 while the Women play on the the following day.
