Skyline badminton coach Jan Fosberg will be inducted into the Pacifica Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday, Feb. 22. Fosberg attributes her induction to her success with Skyline College badminton. She even mentions that the highlight of her sports career was coaching Anna Nguyen through last year’s come-from-behind victory against the defending state champion.

“Our team was just so supportive,” Fosberg boasts of the match, “the atmosphere in the gym was electric.”

Skyline Dean of Kinesiology Joseph Morello will offer Fosberg her own much deserved team support when he emcees the induction ceremony.

This year’s elite class of four will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. at the Grosvenor Hotel in South San Francisco. The ceremony will be open to the public. Tickets are available for $45.
