Week three of fantasy football is over. There were a lot of disappointments and a lot of achievements. One of the greater stories of the weekend was of Baltimore’s wide receiver, Torrey Smith, who played the day after his younger brother was killed in a car accident in Virginia.
For him to play after that kind of loss took a lot of courage. Teammates and players from the opposing team were all encouraging and supporting him through this tough time. How inspiring for him to play through and to show that no matter what happens in life you have to keep going and that people who really care are going to be there and support you. That night Smith had six receptions for 127 yards and two touchdowns.
One week after Reggie Bush had 26 attempts for 172 yards with two touchdowns against the Raiders, he looked to be getting back to his form he had from USC after having a rough year last year with the Saints. Then this week he ended up having 10 attempts for 61 yards and no touchdowns.
