Since the beginning of January, Skyline’s basketball teams have been playing in the North Conference Games, a rigorous sequence of 12 games against neighboring community colleges.
In the month of January, the men and women’s teams played 14 games between them, several of which were at Skyline. After a strong start to the season, the men’s basketball team has struggled in the North Conference Games, usually losing only by a few baskets.
The women also started out strong this season and have won the last two games in the Conference against Chabot College and Las Positas College. Both the men and women still have six games each left to play in this series, quickly followed by the Regional Playoffs at the end of February. The locations for the play-offs are to be announced.
