Making assumptions about people is juvenile and foolish
Expecting the best from the people around you is a waste of time.
Have you ever looked at a friend, or acquaintance, and assumed that you knew them? That you had them figured out and pegged as a good human being, only to have them turn around and shatter your expectations?
Making assumptions of the people around you, expectations about their quality of character, is a waste of time and will always cost you in the end. In all honesty, you are fooling yourself with some pre-conceived notions and illusions.
Assuming that someone is a good human being after only knowing them for a few months is, not only a waste of time, but one of the most juvenile mistakes a human being can make. Act your age and stop making assumptions. It’ll be better for you in the long run, and you’ll keep your sanity at the end of the day.
