Men suck at online dating
Times are a changing and online dating is no longer taboo. Meeting someone online is no longer looked at as weird or strange, but is now looked at as the new way to date.
Dating online can be scary. Having to meet someone you don’t know in person after talking to them online can be a nerve wracking experience. It’s stressful if you even get to the date. Sifting through the good and the bad can be very exhausting.
The nice thing about just talking online at first, is that you get an honesty from people that you might not be able to receive in person.
Guys online need to learn some manners and to respect women.
Since meeting men in person has become a tad bit difficult, the decision to try online dating seemed like an easy one. While on a website, men have messaged me things like: “I wish I was naked with you,” or “are you busty?”
When men send this as their first messages what do they think they’re going to get? No woman should ever have a man talk to her like that when they’re not in a relationship. No woman should ever be disrespected like that from a man. It’s frustrating that men think they can say whatever they want to women and get what they want.
Men need to learn the proper way to talk to women and see that vulgarity is not a way to keep a woman talking to you. Look, women get that men think about sex all the time; that’s cool, but that still doesn’t give them the right to say what they want and just disrespect a woman.
If you haven’t even met yet, how does a man expect a woman to just be super casual with him? Just meeting the guy at his house and just having sex with him? Do men really think we are that naive? No woman is going to want to just go over to your house for the first time to meet you. That’s like the ultimate red flag and creeper sign.
Chivalry isn’t dead. There are just men who haven’t been taught it. Take a woman out on a date. It doesn’t have to be anything super fancy or romantic, but at least take her somewhere where she’s comfortable and you can actually hold a conversation.
When you first start talking it’s very important to understand each other’s hobbies. Find out something she likes to do and build a date around that.
Not all dates have to be planned by the man, but it is nice when a man is a gentleman and plans the first one. Women want to feel special. Women are usually the ones taking care of everyone else and when they get asked out they want to feel like they are your priority and not just another date.
Treating a woman disrespectfully is just uncalled for.
