Traffic, parking, sailors, Angels, Giants and The Stick are just a few words to sum up San Francisco’s eventful first weekend of October.
If you were in the city this weekend, you were probably enjoying one of the many festivities that
took place, and if you weren’t then you were most likely stuck in traffic or weaving your way through the endless wave of crowds.
Fleet Week, the Italian Heritage Parade, the Castro Street Fair, the Giant’s first playoff game, and the 49ers dominating the Buffalo Bills were the highlights of the warm weekend in the city.
No wonder everyone loves October! Some people hear about the traffic and the crowd in the city and instantly drive in the opposite direction. As for me, I relish in the excitement. The frustration of getting around the city, just makes arriving to the destination that much sweeter.
I love my city. You hear that all the time, but really how lucky are we to live by the beautifully diverse San Francisco.
