Phyllis Joyce Porcar, formerly of the Skyline public information department, died in Rio Linda, Calif. on Aug. 18, 2014 at the age of 68. She was born May 14, 1946 in Washington D.C. Porcar worked at Skyline for a number of years and was involved in the campus piano club and with Boy Scouts of America troop 183 in addition to her work with the public information department.

She is survived by her husband, Juan Porcar, and two sons, Jeffrey and Shaun Porcar. Graveside service was held on Aug. 29 at Sierra Hills Memorial Park and East Lawn Mortuary in Sacramento.
