Police response to campus emergency
On Wednesday, Feb. 12 at approx 10:45 a.m. three patrol cars (one was an SUV type of vehicle) were apparently called to campus and were grouped outside of Building 1 in tactical formation.
“The student has been apprehended, his bag has been searched and no gun was found”, Skyline Public Safety Assistant, Steven Cornejo was overheard saying over the phone to someone on the other end.
When asked by a reporter at the scene why all the patrol cars were on campus, Skyline’s Chief Public Safety Officer, Robert Dean replied; “They’re here because we needed them here. That’s it. Go away.”
